This fall, Horn Entrepreneurship is trying something new - Class Champions.  Class Champions are liaisons between Horn and Entrepreneurship majors. Their objective is to inspire their peers to get involved in opportunities, programs and events relevant to them.

Horn Entrepreneurship’s Venture Development Center (VDC) serves as a resource for inventors, technologists and creatives working on entrepreneurial projects. It is known for bringing entrepreneurs’ startup dreams to reality, as a gathering spot for problem solvers & out-of-the-box thinkers and a place where a lot of fun stuff just happens.

Summer Founders 2021 Teams Announced

Horn Entrepreneurship held its 2021 Spring Pitch Party virtually this past Wednesday, an event where students were able to pitch ideas for business ventures with the possibility of winning awards and prizes.

In the spaces of creative disruption where entrepreneurs operate, the skills of effective leadership have always been of key importance, and are inextricably tied to the spirit of innovation. However, before anyone can even begin to become a leader of others, they must first learn to lead themselves.

Reading books is one of the best ways to exercise your mind, offering stress relief, memory enhancement, and improved cognitive function. Along with the mental health benefits that reading offers, books can teach new skills, help readers find growth, and share the valuable experience of other accomplished individuals.

After a record number of team submissions, the finalists for Hen Hatch 2020, Horn Entrepreneurship’s much-anticipated premier startup competition, have been announced. The following teams of finalists will include three teams from each of the Pre- and Post-Revenue tracks that will compete in the final round of the 2020 Hen Hatch competition that is set to take place virtually on Dec. 3 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship brought back their biannual pitch party in virtual fashion this past Wednesday, sporting over 50 viewers and 15 teams presenting pitches.
