If you have participated in one of Horn Entrepreneurship’s commercialization programs, attended a REEF@UD Demo Day at the Venture Development Center or reached out through the UD Innovation Gateway, chances are Linda Walck helped make the experience possible.

As program manager for commercialization, Walck coordinates the people, logistics and connections that keep programs moving forward. From managing complex schedules alongside Troy Wilford, director of commercialization programs, to helping innovators find the right resources across the University of Delaware, she is known for stepping in wherever she can add value.

As School Partnerships Manager at Horn Entrepreneurship, Brittany Acosta is helping expand access to entrepreneurship education beyond the University of Delaware campus. Through partnerships with high schools, she works with educators and administrators to bring business, innovation, and leadership courses to students before they begin their college journey.

For the past 10 years, Ted Foltyn has been a beloved member of the Horn staff, but his journey at the University of Delaware began long before that, starting as a student and growing into a lasting impact on the community. His connection to the university extends far beyond the classroom. Ted met his wife Kathi here while they worked at the campus radio station, their son also attended and met his wife here. Over the years, he has become an impactful professor who has mentored countless students. Before he officially signs off, in true Ted fashion, he is leaving us with some insightful tips and tricks from his years in corporate business, teaching, and his time spent at UD.

Long before teaching entrepreneurship, Dr. Charis Asante-Agyei was living it. He founded an undergraduate student council at his university, organized a science camp for kids in Burkina Faso, and launched a tour venture in Korea. Today, he brings that same curious, build-and-test energy to Horn as the instructor of ENTR 356: Creativity and Design Thinking.

A proud Blue Hen and passionate storyteller, she thrives on turning complex projects into meaningful narratives that resonate with our community. Meet Ms. Kay, the friendly and familiar face of the Venture Development Center (VDC) at Horn Entrepreneurship. With a background in travel and tourism from Thames Valley University in London and a passion for connecting with people, she brings a wealth of experience and warmth to her role as an Administrative Assistant and Advisor for a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Integrated Design.  From overseeing VDC operations to greeting students and guests with her signature smile, Ms. Kay plays an integral role in fostering the innovative and inclusive environment that defines Horn.
