Summer Founders Early Admission is OPEN

Take control of your summer and embark on the journey of entrepreneurship. Join the Summer Founders Pre-Accelerator at Horn Entrepreneurship, where you can be the captain of your startup, receive a stipend, and collaborate with fellow student visionaries. Throughout a three month period, tap into the expertise of seasoned entrepreneurs and investors, enjoy 24/7 access to a dedicated workspace, and delve into the principles of evidence-based entrepreneurship. Plus, if you choose, you can earn 3 credits while doing so—all of this, while obtaining valuable information about entrepreneurship.

7 Students Selected for Summer Founders 2023

From fitness and fashion to education and automotives, this year’s cohort of Summer Founders is driving innovation forward during Horn Entrepreneurship’s intensive 12-week pre-accelerator program. These student founders will be working to validate their startup models, seek customer validation, and meet with expert alumni and community partners in related fields through weekly mentoring and advisory sessions.

Summer Founders Accepting Early Admission Applications

This summer be your own boss, receive a grant and work on your startup with other like-minded student entrepreneurs in Horn Entrepreneurship's Summer Founders Pre-Accelerator. Over three months, students can get help from experienced entrepreneurs and investors, obtain a place to work 24/7, and learn more about evidence-based entrepreneurship (and if you want it, earn 3 credits doing so). Summer’s Grand Finale: Demo Day Recapped

Horn Entrepreneurship’s pre-accelerator program, Summer Founders, ended with Demo Day on August 18, 2022. Demo Day is a showcase for entrepreneurial students seeking help from our community. Held in-person for the first time in three years, the room was filled with University of Delaware alumni, former Summer Founders, Horn team members and notable entrepreneurs and business leaders. The agenda included presentations by the 2022 Summer Founders and selected Summer Founders alumni, a networking reception and award ceremony.

Horn Never Sleeps

The Art of Innovation

Like a connoisseur of fine art, Christina Pellicane both understands and enjoys the details, technique and principles of commercialization. She’s spent most of her career on just that - making an impact through innovation. Her work is reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock painting - drips and splashes dotting the canvas - it is purposeful and groundbreaking.
