The Entrepreneurial Leadership certificate is offered through the Lerner College of Business and Economics and teaches students how to lead with innovation within a dynamic organization or environment. I spoke with Jonathan Amato, a junior in the certificate program, to learn more about entrepreneurial leadership and how entrepreneurship relates to his major, finance.

Picture this: You’re on your college campus, enjoying life thinking, “Wow this is great! What could possibly go wrong?” And now you find yourself in your hometown on the couch fighting with your siblings, all while trying to organize your new life. It seems like none of us have the answers, but we do have some advice that can help in this tornado of a life we’re all living right now. The best thing you can do above all is remember that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we will all come out as stronger Blue Hens than we were before all of this. With fall enrollment quickly approaching, Horn Entrepreneurship encourages students to have one course, ENTR/LEAD253: Individual Leadership - Building a Foundation for Success, on their radar. A foundational entrepreneurship course, ENTR253 offers an experience to first lead yourself as you embark on a lifetime of leading others.
