Horn Entrepreneurship reaches far beyond the confines of the University of Delaware and through an unexpected lens - the Diamond Challenge. This global youth entrepreneurship competition engages more than 1800 teens annually from more than 30 countries. Leading the Diamond Challenge is a new team member at Horn, Maggie Nelson.

Many great innovations, societal changes and inventions begin with the question, “what if…?” Fourteen Delaware Innovation Fellows (DIF) hailing from 11 majors presented answers to their “what if” questions at the 2022 DIF Innovation Showcase. Their answers were the basis of their capstone innovation project and the culmination of work completed during their three-phase fellowship.

Horn Entrepreneurship recognized eight University of Delaware undergraduate students with awards and scholarships totaling more than $10,000. The awards honor innovative and entrepreneurial students throughout the university.

University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship honored 13 newly inducted women into the WE Hatch Honor Circle, which celebrates women who are supporting and helping each other overcome the unique challenges faced by women innovators. Nominated by their peers, employees, spouses and friends, Honors Circle members have made a lasting impact on their network and community.

Horn Entrepreneurship recognizes entrepreneurial students through awards and scholarships totaling almost $10,000 in cash and Venture Development Center credit. Undergraduate students from all majors are invited to apply now through Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.

Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine name UD a top school for undergraduate entrepreneurship studies

University of Delaware’s Horn Entrepreneurship is one of the best in the nation, according to The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. The magazine’s joint ranking placed UD at #38 overall and #8 in the Northeast in its 2022 list of the top 50 undergraduate schools for entrepreneurial studies.
