Meet the 2022 Hen Hatch Semifinalists

Fourteen teams advanced to the semifinal round of Hen Hatch, UD’s premiere startup funding competition. Three semifinalists from each track (pre- and post-revenue) will advance to the 2022 Hen Hatch Final Round which will take place on Dec. 1 at the Audion. Rewards of startup cash and prizes will total $50,000 with additional in-kind gifts.

An app that enables two way communication between real college students and high schoolers through social media style feed and direct messaging to give the high schoolers real insight into the actual way of life of a college before they get there.

An on-campus commissary-style kitchen space, featuring professional chef assistance, pay by weight groceries, and comfortable dining atmosphere

STEM So(ul)cial is a hybrid style community for Black people in STEM.
 

Semifinalists have 7 minutes to pitch and a 5 minute Q&A session with judges. Semifinals will take place without an audience. Following each presentation, teams have mentoring sessions with seasoned entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
