Got a venture in motion? Leading a project? Building something that makes life better? Horn Entrepreneurship is now accepting applications for its annual awards and scholarships, offering more than $10,000 in cash to support the next wave of UD student innovators.
These opportunities are open to University of Delaware undergraduate students from all majors. If you’ve been creating, testing, leading, launching, or making an impact, this is a great time to share what you’ve been working on.

What you’ll submit

Awards & scholarships Overview
Brad & Jennifer Bono Award (1 award, $2,000)
For students who demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership and a commitment to social impact, especially those who bring people together to tackle real societal challenges.
Shawn & Sheryl McCall Award for Entrepreneurship (2 awards, $2,500 each)
Recognizes students who show strong entrepreneurial promise and are applying entrepreneurship in real-world settings.
Horn Entrepreneurship Award (1 award, $1,500)
Funded by Horn faculty, this award supports students pursuing a new venture or an educational opportunity related to creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, or leadership.
David J. Freschman Scholarship (multiple awards, total of $7,000 available)
Supports students with the energy, determination, and acumen that drive entrepreneurial success.
Rysheema Dixon Legacy Award (1 award, $2,000)
Honors student social innovators and entrepreneurs dedicated to uplifting others, especially through projects benefiting socially and economically disadvantaged communities.
