Horn Entrepreneurship

The Horn Ambassadors: Part Three

For those who missed our introductory article, the Horn Ambassadors are a select group of students that have been chosen to represent the Horn Entrepreneurship Program. From working events at the Venture Development Center to talking to prospective students about the entrepreneurship major, the Horn Ambassadors are always out there representing Horn in the best possible way. Let's get to know some more Ambassadors in the third installment of the series!

Jason Bangser

Sophomore Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation majorjason bangser editWhy did you want to be an ambassador:  I really believe in Horn as an organization and a community, and I wanted to share my love for it with prospective students and families.

Thing that drew you to Horn/Favorite thing: The outside-of-classroom opportunities are unlike anything else offered at the University. Professors are extremely experienced and supportive, while the other Entrepreneurship majors are brilliant, creative, and caring.

Hobbies, interests, and other activities: I play jazz guitar, work for Delaware Innovation Fellows, and try to develop startups.

Kelly Andreason

Senior Entrepreneurship major with a minor in Advertising kelly andreason editWhy did you want to be an ambassador: I wanted to be an ambassador for Horn Entrepreneurship because I wanted to share the amazing value of Horn to others! Horn Entrepreneurship was the reason I chose to come to UD and has made a huge impact in my college career. I want to be able to share Horn's awesome-ness to everyone I know!

Thing that drew you to Horn/favorite thing: The first thing that drew me to the Horn Entrepreneurship program was the staff- they are so kind, supportive, and motivating. I knew that having those people mentoring and supporting me, I could accomplish anything! One of the things I love most about the major is the sense of community we have. I pretty much know everyone in my major whether they are a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior! We are all really supportive of each other and it's a community unlike any I've been in before.

Hobbies, interests, and other activities: Reading, blogging, sleeping (ha!), taking my pup on walks, binge watching Netflix

Heather Strolli

Freshmen Entrepreneurship majorheather strolli editWhy did you want to be an ambassador: Because I wanted to share my passions with other incoming students and allow for social connections. Also, I wanted to act as that mentor for students to look up and ask questions if needed.

Thing that drew you to Horn/Favorite thing: I was drawn by the close-knit community the program resembles and the countless opportunities it holds. I really enjoy the warm environment it creates and how much of a hands-on experience you are able to receive.

Hobbies, interests, and other activities: Play volleyball, workout, play guitar, listen to music

Check back next Thursday to get to know more ambassadors in the fourth installment of the series!
