For those who missed our introductory article, the Horn Ambassadors are a select group of students that have been chosen to represent the Horn Entrepreneurship Program. From working events at the Venture Development Center to talking to prospective students about the entrepreneurship major, the Horn Ambassadors are always out in the world representing Horn in the best possible way. This is the fifth and final installment of our Horn Ambassadors series. Let’s meet the last three Horn Ambassadors!
Markos Zerefos
Sophomore Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation majorWhy did you want to be an ambassador: I was very involved with Horn in high school so it was natural for me to get involved and represent Horn in college.
Favorite thing about the Entrepreneurship Program: When I was in high school, I was very involved with the Diamond Challenge and had a chance to meet the faculty at Horn and that ultimately was the deciding factor for why I chose the major. I enjoy the people I am around in the major and all of the support that is provided for us.
Hobbies, interests, and other activities: Running/Working out, reading, stocks, piano, tech, working with high school students
Mason Faust
Sophomore Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation majorWhy did you want to be an ambassador: I wanted to be a Horn ambassador because I truly love everything about the program. Ever since I got accepted into the major freshman year, I have always been around the VDC and involved in all of the clubs under Horn. Being a horn ambassador gives me the chance to make an impact in prospective students decisions when looking to apply or get involved with Horn.
Favorite thing about the Entrepreneurship Program: I have always been entrepreneurial, back in high school I had my own e-commerce clothing business which sparked inspiration from my parents owning and exiting several business. The Horn program allowed me to make a career out of something I am very passionate about and I am able to get involved in things like VentureOn and participate in pitch competitions to put what I learned into the real world.
