Horn Entrepreneurship has an award-winning team
Horn Entrepreneurship honors two of their own who join a list of well recognized staff and faculty. From left to right: Tricia Monning and Laura Gasiorowski
At the Lerner Staff Meeting on April 22, two members of Horn Entrepreneurship were recognized for their contributions to the Lerner community throughout the year.
Laura Gasiorowski, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, was presented with the Outstanding Teacher Award for 2022. The Outstanding Teacher Award goes to a faculty member who helps Lerner thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
Lerner also recognized Tricia Monnig, Academic Advisor & Manager of Academic Enrichment, with the Leon & Margaret Slocomb Professional Excellence Award for 2022. The Leon & Margaret Professional Excellence Award goes to a team member who shows passion for community involvement and who truly cares for students.
These awards are given each year to Lerner faculty and staff members who show dedication and passion in what they bring to the students of Lerner, University of Delaware and the community.
Laura and Tricia join other members of Horn who have previously won Lerner Staff Awards. Vince DiFelice took home Lerner’s Outstanding Teacher Award last year. Tony Middlebrooks previously had both the honors for Excellence in Teaching and Excellence in Advising. Dan Freeman won the award for Outstanding Outreach and Service in 2011 and the Leon & Margaret Slocomb Professional Excellence Award in 2012.
Both the Lerner and Horn communities are fortunate to have Laura and Tricia as part of the team. Congratulations Laura & Tricia for this wonderful honor!
