A D1 wide receiver, finance student and son of the founder of the world-renowned Parisi Speed School, Dan has spent his whole life inside the world of performance and potential. As a recent UD graduate heading to Johns Hopkins for his Master’s in Organizational Leadership, he's taking everything he's built on the field, in the classroom, and online, into his next chapter.
His Instagram account @parisibrothers2.0 going from zero to 25,000 followers in a few months is the clear example that you can apply what you learn in class, in real life in real time. The idea came down to Dan and his brother while talking and realizing how much they could help people if they just started sharing their knowledge and honest inspiration to STAY LOCKED.
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Dan Parisi. I'm a finance student at the University of Delaware and a D1 wide receiver. My brother Will and I created our Instagram account @parisibrothers2.0 on February 1st with zero followers and grew to over 25,000 in just a few months.
What started as fitness and athlete-focused content evolved into something much bigger. We built a platform centered around motivation, health, nutrition, and performance — with one core message at the heart of everything we do: Stay Locked. Meaning give everything you have to everything you do in order to reach your full potential.
What makes it exciting is that Will and I are living everything we preach in real time. We're not just talking about it, we're doing it every single day as active D1 athletes, students, and young entrepreneurs. We're now monetizing through our Skool community, where members get direct access to us through motivational calls, programming, and everything they need to lock in and reach their potential. We built something real from nothing, and we're just getting started.
What problem are you solving, and who is your audience?
The problem is simple: most people have more potential than they're currently living up to. They just need the right motivation, tools, and community to unlock it.
Our content speaks to three core audiences. First, younger athletes who are dreaming of playing at the college level and need real guidance from people who've actually done it. Second, current college athletes who want to maximize their performance and make the most of their athletic career. Third, everyday adults who want to train, feel, and look like an athlete while staying disciplined and locked in their goals.
What all three have in common is that they want to be better. Better athletes, better performers, better versions of themselves. Will and I give them an authentic look at what it actually takes to stay locked every single day, through our content, our programming, and direct access inside our Skool community. We're people living this, every single day, and bringing our audience along for the journey.
Tell us about the journey so far — the highs, the pivots, the learning curves.
The journey has been one of the biggest learning experiences of my life. Going from zero to 25,000 followers in a few months taught me more about content creation than I ever expected.
The biggest lesson: it's all about making the viewer feel like you're talking directly to them. When I'm on camera, I treat it like I'm talking to my best friend. That authenticity is what makes people connect and keep coming back. The moment you start performing for the camera instead of just being yourself, people feel it immediately.
I also learned that every successful video needs three things: it needs to entertain, educate, and be fun. And none of that matters without the hook, the first three seconds either make or break it.
The biggest high so far was when my day-in-the-life video went viral and reached almost 2 million views. Having celebrities like Logan Paul and Chad Ochocinco comment and repost it was a moment I'll never forget. That's when I realized we were building something real.
What has been your proudest moment?
My proudest moment has nothing to do with follower counts or viral videos. It's the people.
The number of people who have come up to me and said our content genuinely changed their life, that's something I never anticipated. When I started this account, I honestly didn't know how influential I could be. But hearing someone tell you face to face that you motivated them to keep going, to lock in, or to believe in themselves more? That feeling cannot be replicated.
Those moments are what drive me to keep showing up every single day. Not for the numbers, not for the recognition, but because I know that on the other side of every piece of content is a real person who might need to hear exactly what we have to say.
What has it been like building all of this while being a student and athlete?
It's been one of the best challenges I've taken on. What made it so special is the community around me. Getting encouragement from my teammates and classmates — and being able to include them in my content — made the whole journey feel like a team effort.
It's also completely transformed my time management. When you have a lot going on, you're forced to be intentional with every single minute. I don't watch TV, I don't play video games, I don't waste time. When I have free time, I spend it with the people who matter most. Everything else gets my full attention when it's time to work.
What keeps me going is knowing that every piece of content I put out has the potential to impact someone in a real way. That responsibility doesn't feel like pressure to me. It feels like purpose.

How has UD and Horn shaped your path?
Professor Nat's (Measley) class came into my life at the perfect time. I started building ParisiBrothers2.0 almost exactly when the semester began, and everything I was learning in class I was applying in real life in real time. That overlap made both experiences so much richer.
The biggest shift the class created in me was moving my focus from myself to others. I came in thinking about my own growth and goals. As the semester went on, I started thinking about how I could show up for the people around me, how I could motivate them, challenge them, and genuinely make an impact. That change shaped everything about how I lead and how I create.
I also developed a completely different relationship with vulnerability and self-confidence. Being open about your struggles and failures doesn't make you weak, it makes you credible and relatable. Professor Nat modeled that every single day. I didn't just listen to his lessons; I watched how he led and studied his actions on a deeper level. The way he showed up every single day, the way he connected with every student, and the way he made everyone feel seen and valued taught me just as much as the course content itself. I've learned real leadership traits from how he carries himself, and I can't wait to keep learning from him long after graduation.
What's next?
Right now the biggest thing we're building is our Skool community, where members get direct access to me and my brother through motivational calls, athlete programming, nutrition guidance, and everything they need to lock in. We're not just posting content from a distance. We're building a real community where people can connect with us personally and get the tools to actually change their lives.
Beyond that, I'll be interning at One William Street Capital Management in midtown Manhattan this summer, a specialist credit fund, where I'm excited to learn from some of the best minds in finance. In August, I head to Johns Hopkins University to pursue my Master's in Organizational Leadership while continuing my football career.
The combination of elite academics, competitive athletics, and everything I am building with ParisiBrothers2.0 is exactly the environment I thrive in. The goal is to keep growing in every direction at once, because that's what Stay Locked means to me. Never stop, never settle, and always give everything you have to everything you do.
What advice would you give to students thinking about starting something?
Go all in. Don't wait for the perfect moment, the perfect idea, or the perfect plan. Just start, and give it everything you have from day one.
Believe in yourself even when nobody else does yet. There will be people who doubt you, people who do not understand what you are building, moments where you question yourself. None of that matters. What other people think of you is none of your business.
Give 100% to everything you do so that no matter the outcome, you can sit back and know you did everything in your power. You cannot control the outcome, but you can always control your effort and your mindset.
And here's the thing nobody tells you: you never know when the opportunity of a lifetime is going to show up. It could be tomorrow. It could be in a random conversation with a stranger. The question is whether you'll be ready. Stay locked in every single day so that when that moment comes, you're prepared to take full advantage of it.
For Dan Parisi, doing things all the way is the right way. He is the kind of person who will guide you to lock in. Whether you are a student, an athlete, or just trying to be your best self, he wants to connect. He is always looking to learn from others, help others and find new mentors to push him to the next level. Find him on Instagram at @parisibrothers2.0 to connect, collaborate, or just have a conversation worth having.
