Fall 2021 Pitch Party: Encouraging and Commemorating Ideas with the Horn Community

Pitch Party Wrap UP

Horn Entrepreneurship held its 2021 Fall Pitch Party virtually this past Wednesday. In this event, students are able to pitch ideas for business ventures with the possibility of winning awards and prizes.

The evening was hosted by Faculty Director of Venture Support Vince DiFelice and Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club) president Isabella Duarte.

Students are given 90 seconds to make their pitch to a panel of judges composed of Horn alumni and entrepreneurs who then provide initial feedback. This year’s judging panel included Emma Lynch, a Market Associate at Siegfried Group, Isabelle Hughes, a Solutions Advisor at Tyler Technologies, and Sury Gupta, founder of 360VR Technology.

With a total of 20 teams participating, the event provided the students with a unique opportunity to gain pitching and presentation experience while receiving support and encouragement from fellow entrepreneurship students.

Students and teams were split into two competition categories, a Beginner’s Track and an Advanced Track.

In the Beginner’s Track, superlatives were awarded to the following student teams:

Most Creative: Bee & Blossom by Talia Collier

Most Interesting: Metamorphic Housing Solutions by Carlos Benito
