The Summit provides a three day conference experience that focuses on youth entrepreneurs from around the world. High school students in attendance will be able to meet competitors from across the world, grow with other likeminded and motivated youth and hear from seasoned and successful entrepreneurs.
1. Learn from the Best
It is never easy to jump into something with no support or guidance from those more experienced. Jason Feifer, editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur Magazine, is hosting a keynote presentation to provide The Summit attendees with information he has gathered himself or from his many interactions with some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs. “The Summit proved to me the power of entrepreneurship,” said Kelly Landis, a Diamond Challenge ambassador. “The Summit convinced me to use it as a force for positive change in the world.”
2. Experience Magic
The Summit will host the special entrepreneurial magician, John Logan. Logan is a magician and keynote speaker who uses magic as a way to show that impossible is just a word. Logan helps you achieve personal and professional goals and showcase the creative strategies entertainers use to make their visions come to life. "Being an entrepreneur helps me combine my creative mind and business mind,” said Logan. “I think it is essential for being successful in life."
3. Pitching
The Diamond Challenge semifinal and final rounds will take place at The Summit, meaning all attendees get the chance to see what it takes to compete on the big stage. All pitches will be given by the qualifying teams and attendees will be able to participate in question and answer sessions and hear constructive feedback from the judges. Sierra Ryan-Wallick, a former Diamond Challenge winner, said “I’m really excited to use my prize money to either expand my non-profit organization across the country or help me pay my college tuition.”
4. Pop-up Competitions
Semifinalists and finalists won’t be the only participants getting competitive either. All attendees will be able to participate in the all new pop-up competitions held by current entrepreneurs that take place throughout the conference. “The Summit puts the community right in front of your eyes and the atmosphere of excitement and competition actually lends itself really well to bonding with the other students there,” said Ryan-Wallick. “You get to network for your idea and hear feedback from other people your age.”
5. Lasting Memories
The Summit provides a unique opportunity to all high school entrepreneurs to meet students from around the world and make lasting memories. Chase Marvil, a pop-up competition organizer, said “In my own organization, entrepreneurship has changed my life. It is absolutely amazing to see how one simple idea can become one’s greatest reality. My organization has opened my eyes to see how people from around the world differ in lifestyles and mentality. Being able to talk to these people and reach out to inspire is truly something amazing.”
