Markos Zerefos

Sophomore Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation majormarkos zerefos editWhy did you want to be an ambassador: I was very involved with Horn in high school so it was natural for me to get involved and represent Horn in college.

Favorite thing about the Entrepreneurship Program: When I was in high school, I was very involved with the Diamond Challenge and had a chance to meet the faculty at Horn and that ultimately was the deciding factor for why I chose the major. I enjoy the people I am around in the major and all of the support that is provided for us.

Hobbies, interests, and other activities: Running/Working out, reading, stocks, piano, tech, working with high school students

Ever since I got accepted into the major freshman year, I have always been around the VDC and involved in all of the clubs under Horn. Being a horn ambassador gives me the chance to make an impact in prospective students decisions when looking to apply or get involved with Horn.

Favorite thing about the Entrepreneurship Program: I have always been entrepreneurial, back in high school I had my own e-commerce clothing business which sparked inspiration from my parents owning and exiting several business. The Horn program allowed me to make a career out of something I am very passionate about and I am able to get involved in things like VentureOn and participate in pitch competitions to put what I learned into the real world.
