VDC Community Sessions – Wednesdays at 6 PM

Calling all aspiring entrepreneurs! Whether you have a business idea or just a curiosity about startups, the VDC Community Sessions are the perfect place to start. Join the conversation every Wednesday at 6 PM at the Venture Development Center (VDC). No registration, no commitment—just come as you are and connect with like-minded peers. It’s an open and supportive space to explore your entrepreneurial journey.

Free Lunch Friday – Starting February 14, 2025

Who doesn’t love free food and insightful conversations? Free Lunch Friday returns this semester, offering a weekly speaker series with entrepreneurial leaders from the community.

• Seating is first come, first served

VentureOn – Application Deadline: February 24, 2025

Do you have a startup idea that’s ready to take flight? VentureOn is here to help. This program meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and offers:

• Mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and investors.

Spring Pitch Party – April 23, 2025

Summer Founders Program

Take charge of your summer with the Summer Founders Pre-Accelerator! This program, hosted by Horn Entrepreneurship, is designed for student entrepreneurs looking to dedicate their summer to building their startups. Participants will:

Venture Development Center

The Venture Development Center (VDC) is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for all University of Delaware students. Drop in to study, meet with your startup team, or chat with other students. The VDC is located on Delaware Avenue between Academy and Haines Streets.
