In 2020 Horn Entrepreneurship launched an initiative focused on female entrepreneurs and innovators called WE Hatch. The program focuses on increasing opportunities for women by providing educational programming, conducting academic research, and creating a community for female entrepreneurs and changemakers to network, socialize and support one another.
A key component of WE Hatch is the Honor Circle which recognizes the important roles women play in creating a vibrant, equitable, and growing entrepreneurial community in Delaware and beyond our border.
After two successful years, we are now searching for the next class of WE Hatch Honor Circle members.
Honor Circle members bring to the table varied backgrounds but share a common trait of inspiring others. Some Honor Circle members lead companies and non-profit organizations, while others are authors, educators, artistic creators, and small business owners. Together, they form a strong community of women who are making a difference.
What makes someone eligible for inclusion in the Honor Circle?
Nominations to the WE Hatch Circle are open now and we will continue to accept them until January 24. The nominations will be reviewed by a panel of existing Honor Circle members and a maximum of 20 new members will be inducted this year.
The induction ceremony and celebration will take place at the Audion on the University of Delaware's campus on Thursday, March 16. The newly selected women and their nominators are invited to this exclusive gathering of the Honor Circle.
We hope you will consider submitting a nomination today.
