Meet the Hen Hatch Finalists

Seven teams comprised of students and alumni from University of Delaware Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, College of Arts and Sciences and College of Engineering are advancing to the final round of Hen Hatch, UD’s premier startup funding competition. Teams will pitch before a panel of accomplished judges and an audience of regional business leaders, experienced entrepreneurs and UD community for a share of a $100,000 prize pool.

The conference has been ranked as a must-attend event for young entrepreneurs. This year, the Summit theme is A World Made By You and will include a new feature, the Made by You Market, offering items created by young entrepreneurs.

The University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship spring pitch party will be held at the Venture Development Center from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14. Undergraduate students from any college may pitch but any UD student, faculty or staff, may watch. The event is free but to pitch or attend you must register.
