For anyone who missed our introductory article on the new Horn Ambassadors, they are a group of students chosen to represent Horn Entrepreneurship. These students serve as a go-between for prospective entrepreneurship students, help out at events at the Venture Development Center, and build a sense of community wherever they go.
Meet the Horn Ambassadors
Samantha McGhee is a freshman who is double majoring in Entrepreneurship and Fashion Merchandising & Management.
Her favorite part about being an Ambassador is being able to share her love and passion for entrepreneurship with potential Horn students. She loves the connection she gets to make with them and that she gets to show them how they can get involved in the major as well as the UD community.
Skylah Lorenzo ‘25 is an Entrepreneurship and Marketing double major.
Skylah loves being able to teach people all about what UD has to offer. She enjoys spreading the news of different opportunities that can help change the lives of future entrepreneurs as well as everybody who they help along the way.
Her biggest takeaway from being a Horn Ambassador is learning how to communicate and express herself in a way that lets her be open and inviting to prospective Horn students. She can bring in her own experiences and knowledge, but tailor it in a way that is relatable to others.
