For anyone who missed our introductory article on the new Horn Ambassadors, they are a group of students chosen to represent the Horn Entrepreneurship Program. These students serve as a go-between for prospective entrepreneurship students, help out at events at the Venture Development Center, and build a sense of community wherever they go.

Meet the Horn Ambassadors

Mollie Moran is a sophomore Entrepreneurship major with a minor in Integrated Design.

She is extremely excited to be a Horn Ambassador and is most looking forward to sharing her experiences with prospective students and bonding with her fellow ambassadors.

Her biggest takeaway so far has been to be open to any conversation because you never know who you will meet and how they could impact your life.

Jake Gray is a sophomore Communications major at UD.

He loves meeting new people as a Horn Ambassador, and gets excited when he looks around and sees other motivated and creative individuals like himself.

A key lesson he has learned as an Ambassador is to prioritize the goals of the person he is speaking to. Once he finds out the angle of the other person, he feels confident in tailoring his pitch toward them to make it more exciting and personable. Engagement and connection are the name of the game in the world of entrepreneurship.
