Horn Entrepreneurship invites all current University of Delaware students to attend the spring pitch party! The spring pitch party is a biannual event hosted by Horn Entrepreneurship in which students are given 90 seconds to pitch their most interesting business ideas to a small group of judges and attendees with an opportunity to win a prize. This event is a perfect way for UD students of any background to get experience with pitching business ideas and getting their creative propositions out there.
Whether you’re a Shark Tank super-fan who wants to come watch a pitch in real time or you’re an entrepreneurship major with a million dollar idea, Horn Entrepreneurship welcomes you. Every idea is supported with the utmost enthusiasm, so even if you've never pitched before we welcome you to apply. The pitch party is happening March 18 at the Venture Development Center from 6-8PM.
The Venture Development Center is an open and friendly environment that is supportive and accepting of every person and idea, so students from every college and major are encouraged to participate. The pitch party is intended to create a space that fosters creative thinking and ideas. Even if you're not the best public speaker, don't let that stop you from getting your ideas out there!
Only current UD undergraduates are allowed to pitch, however any UD student, faculty, or staff can attend and spectate. Registration is required for pitchers and spectators. Past participants in Summer Founders, NSF I-Corps, Proof of Concept, Hen Hatch semi-finalists, and prior Pitch Party winners cannot pitch their same idea.
