The inevitable start of the new semester has come, arriving on time as the summer days begin to cool. Navigating the start of the semester, whether you are a freshman on campus for the first time or a senior returning for your fourth (or fifth, or sixth) year, presents a unique set of challenges. Though it may be a chaotic adjustment period, implementing strong practices early will help you launch your fall successfully.

After five years at the University of Delaware, Lizzy Adams took the plunge into the business world and found herself transitioning to working as a Marketing Manager in the heart of New York City.

Cassidy Nalbone experienced a minor setback when a position with a student event group fell through. With that came some uncertainty in her own abilities.

Rather than allowing failure to define her, Cassidy found success in her own response to a difficult situation.

A startup that’s figured out how to make solar cells at a very low temperature is following the entrepreneurial process at the University of Delaware because of its international renown for more than 45 years of research and innovation in the space.

The University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship Summer Founders program has returned for 2018 with eight student startup teams. The teams represent seventeen students from four colleges. Through Aug. 22 the founders will be working to validate their business models and gain customers.

University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship invites applications to UD’s National Science Foundation Innovation Corps Sites Program (NSF I-Corps Sites). Applications for the 12^th cohort are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 18.
