Taste Test Entrepreneurship
Free Lunch Friday – Fridays at 11:30 a.m.
What’s better than free food and fresh ideas? Each Friday from 11:30–12:25 p.m., join Horn for Free Lunch Friday at the VDC. Hear from inspiring entrepreneurial leaders while enjoying lunch with your peers. Free Lunch Fridays are almost every Friday from September 5 through December 5.
VDC Community Sessions – Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Looking to explore entrepreneurship but don’t have a business idea yet? VDC Community Sessions are open to all students who want to learn, brainstorm, and collaborate. Held every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Venture Development Center, these sessions are casual, commitment-free, and a great place to meet like-minded peers. Just show up!
Fuel for Founders
VentureOn – Apply by September 15
VentureOn is designed to help student entrepreneurs at any stage of the startup process. Participants gain access to mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and investors, peer support, 24/7 workspace, and even funding opportunities. VentureOn meets on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the Venture Development Center. Applications for the fall semester are due September 15. Apply now to give your idea the support it needs to grow.
Hen Hatch – Apply by October 3
Think you’ve got the next big business idea? Hen Hatch, UD’s premier startup funding competition, is your chance to shine. Compete for more than $50,000 in awards and in-kind services, gain valuable feedback, and make connections that can take your idea to the next level. Applications are open now through October 3.
