Eco-Innovators Compete on the Stage at REEF@UD Demo Day

2025 REEF Demo Day students pitching to judges

The fifth annual Ratcliffe Eco Entrepreneurship Fellows (REEF@UD) Demo Day is quickly approaching! On Monday, May 4, from 4-7 p.m. at the Venture Development Center, a variety of student teams will take the stage in front of expert judges to pitch their original, clever new solutions that push to innovate and fight against pressing environmental challenges.  Please register to attend by April 30.

REEF@UD is a four-month fellowship, with the goal to support student innovators working at the intersection of entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability. Horn Entrepreneurship and the College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment collaborated on this initiative, with support from the Ratcliffe Foundation.

These eco-entrepreneurs will compete to win $5,000 in prizes for their concepts. Light food and beverages will be served.

Register by April 30 in order to reserve your spot and support the next generation of eco-entrepreneurs!

REEF@UD is open to all University of Delaware upper-level undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-docs keen to use their ingenuity to solve environmental challenges. Qualified members of the community ay also apply to be considered. Undergraduate students will be required to enroll int he practicum course during the spring semester (ENTR/GEOG/GEOL/MAST 489).
