Branding and Style Information for Partners

By virtue of this document, all Pitch Event Partners must abide by both the Diamond Challenge brand and style guide and the University of Delaware brand and style guide.

Visual or Written Brand & Representation
  • When referring to the Diamond Challenge, always capitalize the “D” in “Diamond” and “C” in Challenge.
  • When referring to the Limitless World Summit, always capitalize the “L” in “Limitless", "W" in "World" and “S” in "Summit". 
  • It is expected that the blue Diamond Challenge logo with the Horn Entrepreneurship lock-up underneath will be represented in all externally facing promotional pieces regarding the Diamond Challenge.
  • It is understood that the Diamond Challenge logo visually represented as the letters “DC” with a diamond is only to be used as a social media profile image. This abbreviated logo cannot be utilized in any other instance, unless discussed and agreed upon by the Diamond Challenge team prior to the proposed graphic’s date of release.
  • It is expected that the Diamond Challenge (@diamondchalleng) will be tagged in and/or notified of any and all promotional efforts, including, but not limited to, social media posts, press releases, online articles, videos, etc., so that the Diamond Challenge team can properly highlight your organization’s efforts and achievements through cross-promotion.
  • It is expected that the Diamond Challenge press release template hyperlinked in the Pitch Event Partner toolkit will be utilized for any and all Diamond Challenge-related press releases.

Verbal Brand & Representation

  • Always refer to the Diamond Challenge as an entity “powered by University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship”.
  • It is understood that when describing Horn Entrepreneurship, you will state that it is “the creative engine for entrepreneurship education and advancement at the University of Delaware”.
  • When referencing the institution that powers the Diamond Challenge, you must always refer to the University as “the University of Delaware”, or “UD”.
  • It is understood that when describing the Summit, you will refer to the experience as the Limitless World Summit.
  • It is expected that when representing the Diamond Challenge, no inappropriate, vulgar, foul or other harmful language that goes against our organization’s rules, mission, vision, values and target audience archetype will be utilized.
  • When describing the Diamond Challenge, it is expected that you will utilize the following verbiage and associated slogan(s):
    • The Diamond Challenge is for any teen, from any location, with any idea.
    • The Diamond Challenge provides limitless entrepreneurship and infinite possibilities.
    • The Diamond Challenge delivers a free world-class experience in ideation, pitching, mentoring and networking with global change makers.
    • Participants have the opportunity to showcase their passions on a world stage.
    • The Diamond Challenge is the world’s top-rated entrepreneurship competition.
    • The Diamond Challenge is for any high school student who seeks to be a part of a life-long community of innovators and world changers.
    • The Diamond Challenge Summit is the culminating experience of the year-long competition and the Diamond Challenge journey.
    • Tagline: Showcase your passion on a world stage.
    • Tagline: World Made By You or Create a World Made By You.
    • How the Diamond Challenge works:
      • Our guided submission process ensures each participant learns the entrepreneurial process and builds a skill set that will help them to succeed on any path they pursue.

Physical Brand & Representation

  • It is expected that during any Diamond Challenge event, activity or other promotional event, the official Diamond Challenge presentation hyperlinked in the Pitch Event Partner toolkit will be utilized.
  • It is understood that all visual, written and verbal guidelines are also applicable to the physical brand & representation section of the branding guide, and must be executed accordingly.
